from a film shot in 1983 entitled "Five Divas Speak" on the occasion
of the Metropolitan Opera's 100th anniversary. The title refers to five
leading opera singers at the time who could not make it to the Met's
100th Anniversary gala because of prior engagements elsewhere. |
